After studying art and taking courses at the New York Institute of Photography, I ended up with a degree in Information Technology and spent 25 years designing and developing software systems for New York City financial Institutions.  I retired from my career in 2010, and having always loved the beauty and wonder of the night skies, I purchased a Celestron telescope and headed west for some serious stargazing.  Wanting to share it all, in 2016 I purchased a Canon Rebel T6i camera and a 24mm lens and began shooting astro landscapes and celestial events.
I will always love the night skies, but in 2019 a new passion took hold; photographing both the grand views and intimate landscapes of the earth.  A self-professed introvert, I gravitate toward the woods, fields, mountains, and waterways to capture my moods, but anything very colorful or otherwise eye-catching can become a subject.  I shoot exclusively with Canon gear and am a 2023 graduate of the New York Institute of Photography with a certificate in Digital Photography.
Living in rural Northeast Pennsylvania, I belong to the Wayne County Arts Alliance, the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, and the Pocono Heritage Land Trust and my photos have both won and placed in juried contests and been exhibited in local galleries.
